KIDS Benefit from Starglaze Donation
The Starglaze team was pleased to help their local charity step into Christmas by making a donation of selection packs. The Starglaze team supported the Lincolnshire branch of the KIDS charity for their Christmas party. KIDS, a nationwide charity, have several projects set up in Lincolnshire supporting people with disabilities from 0-18.
KIDS, Starglaze’s nominated charity, working closely with families, young people and funders to understand needs, requirements and make sure that a person-centred approach to each individual is delivered. Although the charity cannot change a diagnosis and cannot cure the disability, they can make a real difference to the lives of the families with a disabled child through high quality, practical tailored services.
As part of the season of goodwill, the Starglaze team collected donations to provide to several local charities, one of which was KIDS. Selection packs were donated to the charity, which was then allocated to children at the event.
A spokesperson for KIDS Lincolnshire said: “The Starglaze team has been brilliant, very generous. The party was really good. It’s expensive to put it on so we are always grateful to companies for supporting us.
“One of the big aims of KIDS is to provide respite, caring for children with disabilities. Both children & parents really value these events, as it provides parents with an opportunity to meet others who are in a similar situation. They also know that staff are there to help support them if they need it.”
